Philipp Spangenberg
Managing Director (Technical)

philipp-p-spangenbergPhillip Spangenberg studied mechanical engineering and computer science at Technical University Munich. He is multiple holder of the “Youth Researches” (“Jugend forscht”) prize. In 2000 he founded PPS-Systems GmbH. Its focus was the development of misson- and process-critical databases as well as mobile solutions. He sold the company – with customers such as Sixt, Air Llloyd Luftfahrttechnik and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research – in 2008.

Since the foundation of baimos technologies Philipp Spangenberg, as technical managing director, is responsible for the technical roadmap, product management and strategic customer projects.

Markus Weitzel
Managing Director (Commercial)

markus-m-weitzelMarkus Weitzel studied technical business administration at Technical University Munich. He has been working  at Siemens Management Consulting and Detecon (Switzerland) AG on projects in the field of knowledge management, IT service management, customer relationship management, service engineering and relationship marketing. In 2004 he had the idea of developing a software in order to use mobile phones as a digital bunch of keys.

At baimos technologies Markus Weitzel, as commercial managing director, is responsible for business development, finance, controlling and marketing.

Ludger Schönecker (Chairman)
Vice President Finance - Marquardt GmbH

Ludger Schönecker is Vice President Finance of the Marquardt Group, an internationally operating automotive supplier and electrical switches specialist supplier with a turnover volume of about € 700 m. His responsibilities include the group’s international investment management and mergers & acquisitions activities. Before joining Marquardt, Ludger Schönecker was Managing Director of a private equity company focused on medium-sized businesses. In this connection, he held several mandates in management and supervisory boards of portfolio companies. Prior to that, he served in various positions in renowned banks, being responsible for strategic investment management as well as acquisition financing. Ludger Schönecker studied business sciences at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich.

Oliver Gajek
Founder and former CEO - Brainloop AG

oliver-gajekOliver Gajek is the co-founder of Brainloop AG, the leading supplier for the management of confidential documents, based in Munich and Boston.  Prior to Brainloop, he headed the European sales team of Commerce One, where he secured the first major customer accounts and established partnership agreements. Previously, Oliver was responsible for the European sales team of Actra Business Systems, a subsidiary of Netscape and General Electric, as well as the European OEM sales team for Netscape Communications. Oliver Gajek is chairman of Munich Network e.V., an organization for high-tech entrepreneurs based in Munich.

Holger Heinen
Investment Director - High-Tech Gründerfonds

Holger Heinen was an entrepreneur before he became an investment professional. He has more than 8 years’ experience in managing a young IT company and has led the development of a geo information system.
